We've hosted the website for the New England Golf and Tennis Camp for decades, through two owners, even though the site was actually designed by another designer. We've helped maintain their WordPress site for nearly as long. Recently the director of the camp decided they wanted a new modern look with a cleaner style and updated features. We gave him that and then some.
Leisure & Recreation Website Design, Web Development and Website Hosting
Studio Six Fine Art needed to get a new site developed with a modern look and feel. They needed to keep the logo and colors from their previous site, but also add on information about "Beginnings" their textile and fiber gallery. Site features a photo gallery and many photos.
Viles Arboretum was actually having a new website designed by a competitor of ours when they decided that it just wasn't working out for them. They liked the design the other company came up with and asked us to replicate it with some minor changes. We did and were able to complete their project to their satisfaction. The site boasts several slideshows, photo galleries and a trail map. Wonderful place to visit both on and offline.
The Maine Genealogical Society came to us looking for a new look with on a more modern interface. They needed a shopping cart, pages for member chapters, and a secure member area. Then a website and platform that will accommodate new features well into the future. Stop on by and take a look!
Black Bear BJJ & Fitness was referred to us by another client, Elliott Office Products. They were looking for a new, clean, responsive website to market their various classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Judo.
Taste of Waterville is probably the largest attended event in the Central Maine Area, so when the Mid-Maine Chamber expressed interest in getting a newly designed site, we jumped at the chance! They needed a new fresh modern look, but a site that was easy to maintain, as until the event occurs in early August there are changes almost daily to the information on the site. We were able to accomplish everything they were looking for and more. Stop by and plan your trip to Waterville that first Wednesday of every August! Your taste buds will thank you!
Snow Pond Center for the Arts has been a client of ours for the past couple of years, but we didn't start with the development of new websites for them, instead we started off with the creation and configuration of a new registration system for them using the RegPacks platform. They had some very specific and complex requirements for their registration system which were able to make the new software do.... with some coaxing. Now that we've completed their registration system for several of their programs, we're starting to redesign their websites. The first one is https://snowpond.org and is their main website for the company. The site boasts high graphics, modern template and responsive design. Geared to enhance the branding of the Arts Center it is a multi-faceted site. Stop by and visit the site and see what fabulous events are coming up in our community!
Dangerously close to losing their site, we contacted Find-Your-Roots when we learned that their previous host was going out of business and needed to have their site and domain moved from their server. Their site at the time was quite out dated so it needed a total overhaul and the owner wanted to take advantage of some more advanced features such as mobile responsiveness, slideshow, search function and so on. Not sure how many times the owner has told me she loves her new site, but I'm confident she does!
LC Ballroom came to us looking for a new modern design featuring a responsive, mobile friendly layout. She also needed an interactive calendar, photo gallery and the ability to add video to the site.
Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festivals and Band came to me through a referral of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce and their Small Business Resource Team. Blistered Fingers has always maintained their own site but recently decided that it was time to have a new one designed that would be mobile friendly and would be capable of accepting online payments. Most importantly they wanted to continue to showcase the thousands of photos that they've taken at the festivals since beginning in 1991. They had talked to other web designers, who all said they shouldn't have that many photos on their website, but I was the first one who agreed that not only are they photos that portray their business, but also the culture and their family of bluegrass music lovers. This site features multiple slideshows and photo galleries.
Prime Fantasy Sports had spent three years and three attempts to find a web designer that was able to convert their old fantasy sport site into a new modern and mobile layout. We achieved this for them with many additional bells and whistles they weren't expecting. The challenging task on this site is that it is actually running two different database systems. The front or public area to the site is operated by one Content Management System (CMS) and the registered member section of the site is being operated by a preexisting database system specifically designed for him and his needs for the fantasy sports program. We needed to hand code hundreds of files to make the backend of the site match the front end.
The Mid-Maine Chamber and Central Maine Growth Council wanted us to revamp the Mid-Maine Bass website we created for them back in 2016. They wanted a more colorful template with drone videography of the many boat landings and lakes of the area showing the features of each landing area for visiting sportsmen. We took the video as well as many photographs with the drones for the site. We also are using the services of SlicPix to enhance some of the mapping features on the site to make it so much more interactive. The Ultimate Resource for Bass Fishing in Maine!
Aquarius Pools & Spas, Inc. of Winslow, Maine under new ownership was looking for web design and web hosting to bring their products and services to the online community through an interactive website featuring an online catalog, testimonials and photo gallery.
